The Journal of Neuroscience and Neurological Disorders (JNND) follows an open access publishing model. To maintain editorial quality, peer review, production, and archiving, an Article Processing Charge (APC) is applied to accepted manuscripts.

APCs are payable only after acceptance. No charges are required at submission or during peer review.
Waivers and Discounts
JNND is committed to supporting equitable global participation. Waivers or discounts may be provided for:
- Authors from low- and middle-income countries (per World Bank classification)
- Early-career researchers with no grant funding
- Active peer reviewers contributing to JNND
- Special invited contributions
Payment Process
After acceptance, authors receive an official invoice. Payments can be made via:

Refunds
Refunds are governed by the Refund Policy. Generally, APCs are non-refundable once publication is complete.

Do all authors have to pay APCs?
Only the corresponding author or their institution/funder is responsible for the APC.
Are there hidden fees?
No. JNND does not charge submission fees, page charges, or color figure fees for online versions.
How do I apply for a waiver?
Authors can request waivers during submission by providing proof of eligibility (funding status, country classification).
