Author Guidelines
Authors submitting manuscripts to the Journal of Neuroscience and Neurological Disorders (JNND) are expected to follow these Author Guidelines to ensure smooth processing, peer review, and publication. Submissions that do not conform to these requirements may be returned for revision prior to review.

General Formatting Requirements
- Manuscripts must be submitted in Microsoft Word (.docx) format.
- Use double spacing, 12-point Times New Roman font, and 1-inch margins.
- Number all pages consecutively.
- Follow ICMJE recommendations for biomedical manuscript structure.
Manuscript Structure

Figures and Tables
- Figures must be in high resolution (TIFF/JPEG, 300 dpi minimum).
- Tables should be editable (not images).
- Each figure and table must include a descriptive title and legend.
Ethical Requirements
- All studies involving humans must state IRB/ethics committee approval and informed consent.
- Animal research must follow international ethical standards.
- Clinical trial registration numbers must be included where applicable.
Conflict of Interest and Funding
Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest and funding sources at the end of the manuscript.
Submission Process
Manuscripts must be submitted via the JNND online submission system. Authors will receive an automated confirmation of receipt. Tracking and communication occur through the online portal.
By submitting to JNND, authors affirm that the manuscript is original, not under consideration elsewhere, and complies with COPE and ICMJE standards.

Can authors submit multiple manuscripts simultaneously?
Yes, but each submission must be distinct and not duplicate previous work.
Is there a word limit for research articles?
Original research articles should not exceed 6,000 words excluding references and supplementary materials.
How many references are recommended?
Generally, 25–50 references are appropriate, depending on the article type.
